I’m James. Between 9 and 5, I call myself a naming architect, which means I help people figure out what story they should try to tell, and what the first words of that story should be. I could go by 'brand strategist and brand architect and naming strategist and namer and socialization consultant,' but you can see why I'd aim for something a little snappier.
Anyway. I’ve helped define and realize the reputations of scrappy startups and Fortune 100 juggernauts, consumer brands and B2B, in tech and finance and pharma and a friend’s brother’s plumbing business, on my own and in partnership with big names like W+K, Redscout, Interbrand, Prophet, and VSA.
